Low light filming with crappy lights

#1

Hey there, so at the end of the month I’m going to shoot a short horror film. It’s my first time doing such a thing, I’ve never made movies before and I’d like to know a few things before d-day.

So, I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ-2000/FZ-2500 and most of the things needed to do an amateur film (tripod, slider, microphone, modulable shoulder rig, filters, tons of batteries, etc…). BUT, I don’t have lights, and we’re going to shoot in an abandonned house. Will flashlights and phones and things like that be enough for this “extreme” low light scenario ?

Also, to get the maximum light from my camera, I’ll be shooting in C4K 24FPS, so I was wondering if in this case I could slower the shutter speed to 1/25 instead of 1/50 ?

Thanks in advance for the answers
